Very interested. I have been a creative artist for almost 40 years (and I’m only 52). Been working in metal for around 10 yrs. Always looking for a new outlet for my passion.

Also still want you in the ArtStock Show. I took a picture of that one piece. If you want to be part of the competition get me the info this week. If you want to be one of the invited

    Hi There

I am looking to spend some concentrated time developing my skills doing metal welding/sculpture. I have taken a number of courses and am familiar with most every style. Is it possible o take work in a studio with an instructor for a period of time? I would like to have someone around or available to turn to or work out some ideas. I am not in Sacramento but could come up for a few weeks from the bay area….I have taken some courses at the Crucible….

    thnx

    Hy

Hi – I see you are starting to offer some glassworking and bead making. I’m looking for a place to work on my skills at glass flameworking, specifically borosilicate marble making. I’m planning on renting time over at UC Davis, but was encouraged by a friend to contact you. Any ideas where I can rent some torch time?

Hello scout and molly, after reading about the metal guilds services and meetings im excited to learn more. I cant wait to become a member and possibly buy some tool time. The projects i have in mind could use a plasma and the roller. I was curious how bissy the shop gets and if you have a sandblaster? Molly your tree project sounds awesome how much more silverware do you need? Ill keep my eye out.

  8. Abby Prock says:

    Hi there,
I am looking for some space and tools, small torch, etc. to do some soddering. I have dabbled in metal jewerly making and want to practice and maybe take some classes.

  9. Joe Campoy, Jr. says:

OK, I have this TOTALLY hideous coffee table that belonged to my wife’s grandmother, that’s why WE have it, and it is in need of restoration. Why you??? Because it’s some kind of guilded metal leaf design with glass petals. I am looking for someone who can restore the metal parts that hold the glass. Oh, did I mention, it’s ITALIAN and so is my wife (best half at least). I can probably attach a picture if anyone is interested, or even run it around. Any help would be appreciated.

  10. Lee says:

Are these meetings still happening? I’m a metal/fire artist who just relocated to sacramento and was excited to find your site.
